Audiotalaia is a project founded in 2007 by Edu Comelles with the aim to release the work from artists all over the world. We seek for proposals in experimental sound composition. According to this we look after artists working on a electronic media framework but keeping an eye into the natural world, the landscape and the environment.
Audiotalaia is currently being transformed in something else than a Netlabel. We are trying to put aside this “tag” in our books. Following the new perspective opened by Audition Records, we like to be considered as a platform focused on diffusion, promotion and production of experimental music, sound art, ambient music and field recordings.
Joining forces with Audition Records, and soon enough with other projects that will pop up on the following months we are working towards new experiences and new targets. Audiotalaia will keep its production style and philosophy unaltered and some new features will be added to this project.
Currently this platform is coordinated by Edu Comelles and Óscar Inzo and we are in permanent dialogue with Audition Records with Julián Bonequi and LEA Ediciones with Juanjo Palacios.
In the mean time, Audiotalaia will continue publishing works on a monthly basis, focusing on national artists and also international emergent artists.

Audiotalaia es un proyecto fundado en el año 2007 por Edu Comelles. Este nace con la intención de publicar trabajos sonoros de artistas de todo el mundo. Buscamos propuestas de composición sonora experimental. En relación con esto, siempre estamos trabajando con artistas que trabajen con medios electrónicos siempre con el oído puesto en el mundo, el paisaje y nuestro entorno.
Audiotalaia se encuentra ahora mismo en un proceso de transformación que va mas allá del concepto tradicional de Netlabel. Siguiendo la nueva perspectiva de gestión planteada por Audition Records, nos gusta ser considerados una plataforma centrada en la difusión, promoción y producción de músicas experimentales, arte sonoro, etc...
Uniendo esfuerzos con Audition Records y LEA Ediciones, estamos trabajando en nuevas estrategias y nuevos modelos de gestión. Audiotalaia, aun así, mantiene su línea de publicaciones habitual así como la filosofía que vio nacer el sello.
Actualmente esta plataforma está dirigida por Edu Comelles y Óscar Inzo y estos trabajan en diálogo constante con LEA Ediciones con Juanjo Palacios a la cabeza y Julián Bonequi con Audition Records.
Así mismo Audiotalaia coordina el proyecto Off_Herzios que pretende ofrecer una programación mensual estable de conciertos en la Ciudad de Valencia, siendo este ciclo un referente a nivel local y nacional.

Physical Editions:
Audiotalaia Netlabel doesn't have ways to self-finance itself. To do so everytime a gig is organised we print very short editions of works released on our catalogue. We sell them at a price of 5€. All the money we gather doing this goes to finance the server, hosting and so on. Also we do release from time to time a DVD edition with the full Audiotalaia Catalogue burnt on it. We do sell this edition called Data Pack at a 10€ price. As well all the money we get from this activity goes to the label. No personal profit is done with it.
If any of the artists on the label states that his work cannot be sold then we do not print their work in order to respect his or her will.
